Marina Paes is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist qualified by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. She is currently undertaking the fifth year of Interdisciplinary Training in Adult Psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, which is one of the most advanced psychoanalytic psychotherapy trainings in the UK. Marina has trained as Psychologist and Psychotherapist at PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo) and holds a Masters degree in Psychoanalytic Studies from the Tavistock Centre.
Marina has been working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in different settings for over ten years. She currently sees patients for psychotherapy privately, in the NHS and works at one of CHT‘s therapeutic communities. Previously, Marina worked at various social projects, including LAWRS and Fundação Julita.
Marina is a member of the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council – 22713), BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy , Registered Member – 381287), TSP (Tavistock Society for Psychotherapists), BPS (British Psychological Society – MBPsS 321744) and of CRP-SP (Conselho Regional de Psicologia de São Paulo– 06/102645).
